2005 Player/Team Rules
RULES:
1.
All games to be two halves of seven minutes with a two
minute half time which must be played within the league
scheduled 20 minute time block. This is true even if
there is an injury stoppage or other incident that eroded
playing time. All games must and will end
on time. Field Dimensions are Length = 70 m, Width = 45
m and Tiezones = 5 m.
2.
League standings will be wins, losses, ties and
forfeits. Tie breakers will be determined by Head to
Head, Total Tries, then points for and points against.
3.
Point System: win = 3 points, tie = 2 points, lose = 1
point and forfiet =0
4.
Player roster: Teams are restricted to
their official 12 player roster. Any teams without
rosters may forfeit the game. Rosters are due the first
evening of the league. Changes may be added to unfilled
rosters until the 5th week.
Men's and Women's
League - Must be over 18 and sign all waiver.
5.
Captain check-in: Each team captain and
all players will meet at the 50 yard line of the field
assigned at half time of the game before theirs. The
coin flip, touch judge (one from each team) and referee
instructions, will happen at that time. All players must
check in. When teams take the field they are expected to
be ready for immediate play.
6.
Extra point: No points after tries.
7.
Kick-Offs All games must start within 3 minutes
of designated Game time. You can start with 5
players.
8.
Substitution: Teams may substitute anyone
from their roster for injuries or openly at half time.
Injured players may not return during the match.
9.
Sin bin: Referees have the right to send
players to the sin bin, between their goal post on the dead
ball line. The length of time will be determined the
referees watch but not to exceed 10 minutes. All players
are expected to have safe clothing, hair styles, fingernails
and no unsafe jewelry.
10. Any
player ejected will be unable to participate for the
remainder of that night and the following week. Other
action may be determined by field referee, both captains and
league commissioner. For any second incident, the player
may be expelled from the league. Players may also be
referred to the ERRFU discipline committee for review and/or
the Denver police.
11. All rules,
stated and unstated, are open for review and amendment by the
league executive committee.
12. Check the
official (Team Score/Scheduling/Referee) Information Board
often.
EXPECTATIONS:
1. All teams are to clean up
their area.
2. No glass bottles of any
kind. No alcoholic beverages allowed.
3. All teams conduct must be
appropriate to the public neighborhood park.
4. Bathrooms (Port-a-Johns) will be
provided.
5. Fair play and sportsmanship are
expected. No institutional foul language.
